Flintoff was just absolutely sensational in that series. Those five tests
in that 2005 summer produced, by far, the greatest standard of test cricket
I’ve ever seen.

people forget about how good freddie was and chirp about *not fulfilling
his potential” (mainly indians and aussie fans) but say what you like, in
2005 there was no greater individual effort from any cricketer in a series
than anyone else in the game since maybe botham in 81.

Geoff Boycott’s laugh at 0:06 just adds to this brilliant moment

The joy with which he jumps after hitting the six is what makes him
exceptional. Its not about scrolling through stats but everyone who watched
him playing knew that he was phenomenal. Might not be a GREAT. But born for
the Ashes.
